Pulmonaria

Dark and rainy for most of the day so sitting by a log fire helped our recovery from a late night and the loss of an hour's sleep.
I had a little walk round the garden when it dried up and eventually the sun came out. Everywhere was really soggy so I worked in the greenhouse for a while. Antirrhinum Night and Day has germinated so out of the propagator to be replaced by Mollucella seeds (Bells of Ireland) and Nicotiana Llangsdorfii.
This pulmonaria is becoming quite well established, providing good ground cover. The silver spotted foliage is now visible. One of its common names is lungwort and it was used to treat chest complaints in the Middle Ages. Not just a pretty face.
