Sunday walk..

..an extra chore this morning, putting the clocks forward. That took an hour!  We seem to have so many clocks to do. One in the lounge, the kitchen, the back kitchen, the porch, the car, the shed, the bedroom, the spare bedroom, the mobile phones.. But not the one in the polytunnel - didn't change that one in the autumn!!

Breakfast, Archers, do the met report for the newsletter, and then get ready for the walk. G wasn't feeling too well, so just Tanni and me.

Drove out to Fanagmore, and parked, and then out over the hill to Red Point. Found this lochan on the way round the hill and it looked wonderful with the bare rock on the left. The edges of the loch are sheer, boggy grass leading to the waters edge, and then 2 or 3 feet of water, straight down, and as clear as crystal. Tanni wanted to go in! She loves water..

Carried on out to Red Point, and got some great shots out across Loch Laxford to Ardmore, KLB, Oldshoremore, Polin, and Northwards to Cape Wrath. Glancing to my left, had views out to Handa Island, and on to Stoer. And it's obvious where the name Red Point came from, the rock is a lovely red colour, clearly visible from the top of the almost sheer sided escarpment. I turned around at this point, as there was a band of rain approaching from the sea, heading straight for me. I got a little wet on the way back. This will be a lovely walk on a warmer, clearer day.

Called in at Croftcrafts on the way back, and dropped of some strawberry plants. TC had just had a visit from R, and was watching football..

A good day..
