A very rainy, very windy day.

We packed up and left our apartment in a brief gap in the rain, and had a wander by the harbour before catching a bus to Canterbury.

We mainly loitered in shops the whole time to escape from the weather. Our ginormous bags meant it had to be very careful loitering though. Had a drink by the cathedral entrance, then headed back to Whitstable for another drink in Elliot's.

Our journey home wasn't as easy as hoped, and the weather made it feel a lot worse. I took this at Faversham after a replacement bus journey, trying to distract myself from the fact I was desperate for a wee with this mirror which was rubbish as a mirror but great for photos.
