To Pedhoulas

After a five minute drive from the Jubilee Hotel near Troodos Square we hopped off the bus into the freezing fresh air. To say it was cool is an understatement. Today we were hiking around the Troodos Forest to our hotel for the evening in Pedhoulas.

Walking near the snow line was really cold at time... The lunchtime picnic was supplemented with two glasses of grappa, not ideal for walking but essential today.

The walk today was 14 miles but was pretty easy going.

Pedhoulas itself seems like a town that time has forgotten. It now only has 200 residents, most properties are summer residents.

Christys palace hotel has seen better days but they sell Keo Beer and it's warm, what more can you ask.
