Parting is such sweet sorrow

They used to say shock is best handled with a cup of hot sweet tea. They were wrong. Nonetheless, most electrical substations are fully equipped, just in case someone takes a shock - say, by being asked to work late.

A workplace is made or broken by the staff, and in truth I'm a little sad to be leaving the folk at National Grid, because they've been a surrogate family for some decades. However, I don't take sugar in my tea and the sun is beginning to shine and I think I'll take tea on the patio...
