Bees in the Redbud tree

I have been waiting days to be able to get these shots!  The weather has been too cold and so the bees haven't been out, but today it was finally warm enough for them to come out.  The bees were landing and getting to work on the blooms.

The grass was cut on Saturday and the dandelions are already back.  There are still daffodils in bloom.

My big project today was to clean and paint the flag pole.  While out there, the sky was full of planes & jets.  Much prettier than the green I was scrubbing off the flag pole!

One coat of paint and then a second!  I will do the gold accents on Thursday and also a new lanyard.
