Birthday Presents 2...

It's been a fairly quiet day today with me being home making sure Geraldine is OK for most of it!

I did venture out in the morning to sort out the new flat we need to move into before the end of June (that was the silver lining I referred to in yesterdays blip). Some details still need to be sorted but at least the flat hunt is over. A wonderful provision which will make the house move a more manageable change!

Watched a few more episodes of Downton Abbey. Getting into it a bit more now. Geraldine has done MUCH better on her second round. No nausea, no energy either but that's to be expected. Her appetite has not diminished which is great. Thank you everyone for all your encouraging comments and messages.

Now for these chocolates... they were (part of) my birthday present from Geraldine this year... hand made praline chocolates. I got two boxes of them. This is the second box which we've now made a start on. Let's see how long it lasts! It has 2 layers.
