Crown Terrace, Hyndland

I've following through on yesterday's Hyndland theme, but left behind the red sandstone tenements, and headed towards Byres Road and the honey-coloured terraces containing flatted properties, some very grand in nature, with residents' gardens across the road and private parking. A 2014 price for a top of the range flat at No 5 was almost half a million but there are smaller cheaper flats, of course, in the roof area and basement. Once upon a time these would have been very grand town houses with live-in servants.

Along came Spencer the cat in Crown Terrace who obligingly jumped on to the warm roof of a car in the morning sun. Spencer set about grooming his paws and provided a 'purrfect'  illustration of the prolific number of felines in the area. He looked quite streetwise and at one with the world. Just like me!
