Harder than it looks

On Good Friday, taking a picture of a pint in Ireland is much more difficult than you might think.

We've abandoned the (never thought I'd say this) sanity of Belfast for an overnight stay at a Dublin airport hotel before heading off to France for a few days (and a visit to a fellow blipper).

The hotel has the strictest interpretation of the Good Friday licensing laws that either I or Mme Tepeka can recall. Basically, no alcohol in the bar whatsoever unless food is actually on the table in front of you. You can drink in your room, but it has to be delivered by room service - you're not trusted to bring it up from the bar in case you're tempted to sip some on the way.

Tomorrow, civilised pictures of gorgeous Bordeaux reds rather than beer. Or possibly the town itself. But more likely the local produce.
