Natural patterns

It's been cloudy but dry so far today.  Quiet in the pool and at the Gym and it has been lovely to sort things out like getting fuel, calling into the farm shop and having the car cleaned by the lovely guys at Florascope.

On my way home, I called in to Christian Fields, the Nature reserve to the north of the centre of Lichfield.  They've put up a few signs, saying what they are doing and informing people of the historical significance (never archaeologically proven) of the site. It's quite neat as much has been trimmed, and you can hope that, when Spring really starts up, it will be pretty and full of life.

It's not a place I would go without my mobile.  There are usually a few odd characters around, and not as many dog walkers as in the other places.

Blossom, a few elusive robins (even they don't hang around) and teasels. I hope there will be the usual butterflies later on. But for now, this unusual seed head is my chosen blip

Have a great weekend, and a Happy Easter, my blip friends.

Edit: actually, I didn't make it sepia. Apart from the crop, it's as from the camera.
