This is an easter craft and vintage fair in the wildlife centre. It was cute and springy! I bought a vintage necklace with lots of wooden animals on it and mum bought a jasper bracelet.

The wildlife centre used to be Quest and it was all about Cadfael. The famous books by Ellis Peters were based there. It used to smell amazing, medieval, like woodsmoke and smoky herbs. Once I went with my Granny, and she got chatted up by a randy monk. He gave her a sip from his ink pot, where he kept an illicit supply of something rather more potent than ink!
