The art of fishing

Concentration personified.

An early start today. Off in the dark to an Easter service. Not bad for a 14 year old, I think the lure of a cooked breakfast followed by fishing helped ;-)

Alex very nearly landed a salmon in the 8lb range today but it broke the line right by the bank. Huge disappointment but he's borne it well.

We smoked yesterday's salmon late this afternoon. It was delicious for dinner and he''ll the other half to take home with him late tomorrow.

Time with my god son is coming to an end. It's been a lot of fun and tomorrow morning there will be more....
