The Light is Coming

Fever in the night, and resolved not to go, but couldn't resist when everyone else got up at 4 something - some of the young folk met here, and we walked to the farm of a guy in our church. Two things I love about this event - the birds singing even though it's still dark because they know the light is coming; and the hordes of folk from all different churches converging on the crosses to celebrate that Jesus conquered death.

So beautiful with the sky gradually colouring, the moon full behind us, and the misty trees.

Folk came back to ours for bacon sandwiches, but I went to bed until the 10:30 service, which was just brilliant  (and no armed guards needed as with our brothers and sisters in Kenya).

I am very grateful for kids who know how to serve others.
