Fair to say, my brother-in-law doesn't always look so serious. 

He and his wife do however lay on a splendid Easter Sunday lunch, and we went out walking along the canal to let some of it settle (and the more liquid bits of it evaporate). Moments like this come along seldom, and perhaps I could have let the autofocus work a bit longer before shooting, but well, you know, blink and you'll miss it. I didn't blink...
