Easter Sunday

It has been a very full weekend so far. Yesterday I was outdoors a lot in the veg garden planting out lettuces and young broad bean plants, and sorting out the greenhouse. There is something energising about the extra light in the evenings and the beginning of the growing season...lots to do.
In the evening we watched the first two episodes of Legacy, a Danish serial about a dysfunctional family: the erratic and moody artistic mother dies leaving three siblings and an adopted daughter to argue and struggle over their inheritance. She has more than one version of her will and has told different people different things. Only ten more hours to go!

Today my sister Jo came over to visit for brunch, and later we went for a good cycle ride for an impromptu visit to friends near Aylsham for tea. On the way we stopped to watch a barn owl quartering across a water meadow.  A fine sight.

Happy Easter, whatever you are up to.
