Arachnocampa luminosa (Glowworm)

No it's not a Harry Potter spell, it's a NZ Glowworm that's not actually a glowworm it's an insect!

There's one in the pic above, yes that little blue dot! This was just a teaser though as when we progressed through the cave there were lots of the little fellas on the ceiling. It was like looking up into the night sky with hundreds of stars thinking away but we were deep underground.

I didn't get a decent pic of them unfortunately but some things in life are seen with the eyes and never forgotten.
