More smelly stuff today

Today's visit was to Wai-o-tapu - Geothermal Wonderland.

In certain places it seems that the earth is boiling beneath your feet and could swallow you up at any moment. Bubbling and hissing as the steam forces itself through from the depths of the earth's vote.

The colours are amazing but it all smells like rotten eggs. Guess Mother Nature has an evil side.

Stopping in Rotorua for the night then off to Mt Rhuapehu tomorrow for a stopover on the mountain!
