Pylons in the mist!

Not a very romantic title but having recently saved my blips to PDFS I realise how often I use terms like 'Moorland Magic' and 'Misty or Glorious Morning'.

It was both glorious and misty in parts for our moorland walk today starting at 8.00am, with hardly a soul on the roads as we set off it being a Bank Holiday.
It was beautifully sunny but there were patches of mist around. Walking up through the woods we hit the mist and then came out above it onto the moors. It was so delightful we extended the usual route walking about 4.5 miles in all.

Here you can see some of the farmhouse and  some of the pylons in the sun and others half hidden in the mist.

Looking across to the villages Wilsden had a cloak over it and there was one further along the Aire Valley towards Bradford where the top of Lister's Mill chimney was just visible.

As we topped the moor there appeared to be a lake in the distance across Keighley Road. Again it was mist settled in the Worth Valley. I think it was Moorland Magic after all!

Spent the rest of the day in the garden both working ( cleaning patios furniture) and sitting. Real spring at last and on a Bank Holiday!
