Todmorden Rooftops

This is a view of the rooftops of Todmorden, taken from the grounds of the Unitarian Church.  To the right of centre can be seen Todmorden Town Hall - a fine building, both inside and out
The very impressive pediment that you can see has just had extensive repair work and restoration carried out to it.
 It has two central female figures on a pedestal. The left hand one represents Lancashire (cotton spinning industry) and the right hand one Yorkshire (woollen industry, engineering and agriculture).
