What a pane in the glass!

Or 'another smashing day'?

We have toiled today dear Blipmates, and as I type this, we are both in a state of complete and utter knackeredness (not helped by lack of food).

Mr A has dug up the garden and laid the foundations for the greenhouse to sit on. As is always the case with our house, it wasn't straight forward so took a little longer than anticipated, but it's absolutely spot on and the greenhouse sits firmly and level, ready to be glazed.

My task was to clean all the panes of glass before they go back in. They had years of mud, rain and algae on them.
It was back breaking and tedious, especially given that window cleaning is one of my least favourite chores (along with ironing), but they cleaned up well and look so much better.

There were some casualties; I'd stacked the panes when we removed them, rather than propping them upright, so a couple of panes at the bottom of the piles had cracked.

We expected to need replacements, so it's no big deal.

We are both back to work tomorrow, so Wednesday is the next chance we will get to continue the project.

Hope you all had a lovely Easter :-)
