First Coat

We were at the DIY store early this morning, to get the paint for the kitchen wall. They didn't have what I wanted, so I had it copied and mixed at their competitor store across the road and saved myself £14 into the bargain. 

I got the first coat on but I'm not sure that you can really tell the colour of it in this blip. It's a very deep purple and will only be going on this one wall. 

We've had the most glorious weather today and Daughter No. 1 and her husband, offered to do a BBQ. It was lovely not to have to cook and I must confess to drinking more wine than I would normally, hence the reason why the second coat never got done!
