Scribbler too

It's not too late!

Poster by Roz Chast at the library.

I've written two poems so far—one in honor of Pi Day (3.14) and the other in honor of my college poetry professor (who recently turned 100 and is still writing poems). Don't wait to get started!

But it's probably too late for me and PolBlip (or whatever the new name will be—Mysterious Joe ain't sayin' yet.) Take a look at my Profile for further opinion.

And please leave a contact if you want to stay in touch.

HUMBLE π

3.14159
makes a circle of a line.
How I wish that I could be
smarter mathematically.

I can measure, though in feet
with a stressed syllabic beat.
Trochees, spondees, scribbled fine
make a penned poetic line.

I collage when I am lazy.
Not artmaking makes me crazy.
How I weep for what I’ve missed.

Dream: Reborn as physicist!

Thought of you, Anniemay!
