RED SZELL & TANVI BUSH

Authors Red Szell & Tanvi Bush made a dazzling & dynamic duo when they appeared on In Touch talking about the art of writing if you also happen to be blind or partially-sighted.
Both made it clear that they are writers who are blind, as opposed to 'blind writers', as can often be the description if one is not careful.
Red's first novel 'Blind Trust' was publshed in 2011 and his latest book is The Blind Man of Hoy, which is a factual account of his bid to become the first blind man to climb the challenging rock face. I will not reveal the outcome, but we did interview him in the studio.
Tanvir's debut novel is Witch Girl, based on her experience of growing up in Zambia and returning as an Oscar-nominated  film-maker, giving a filmic voice to  street children, in collaboration with her father, who was a doctor working in frontline HIV clinics.
Witch Girl has a South African publisher, but as with Red's book, is available in the UK online.
I'd like to thank them for sharing their writing experience and techniques with our audience.
Good luck to you both!
