Out of the mist

Few days visit to Liverpool to see my bessie mate and my Aunt.
Went down to Crosby beach with Janet and Bobbie the dog. Couldn't believe the sea fog that had rolled in. The wind turbines out in the river were totally invisible, you couldn't see from one end of the esplanade to the other and the Iron Men were just about visible at close quarters.
We could hear the fog horn blowing but couldn't see any ships then the IoM ferry loomed out of the mist....really eerie atmosphere. Runners and cyclists looking like apparitions.....
Lovely meal and a few G@Ts to round off the day......
