Happy Birthday...

..to my special Amber girl - 14 today!

Guess who forgot to take a photo of the cake?  There is the video of me bringing the cake in, everyone singing Happy Birthday To You (badly) and the ceremonial blowing out of all 14 candles, but no photo!
For the record, it was delicious, chocolate cake with vanilla icing and grated chocolate on top.
I suggested a few things we could do today but A was keen to just hang out at the house and have family over in the afternoon.  So instead of a big day out we popped along to Devil's Deli (previously blipped) and had a birthday brunch.  For Amber this consisted of French toast stuffed with strawberries and bananas..she was in heaven!!
The rest of the day, I made the cake, we scrambled about tidying, A played her new 3DS and we generally enjoyed there being 4 of us again.  Then the family came over for pressies and cake.  Then A got to do her favourite thing, on her birthday - go to karate.

A super day.
