quick pass it on

Two days of it. Sun splendid trips among the white sand, the raw wind and the daft fun. We walked the land of kings, a golden eagle hung high and open winged way up in the prussian blue heavens. Skylarks descended upon us, fell at our journeying steps. That electronic beep and trills fell from the sky right to where we walked and then helicoptered vertically up again and down and up. Oh we were blessed by the skylarks staking out their breeding grounds in the rising springtime. They fell for me and my boy and my lass.
Fringing the land, the sea was minty green and twinkling shades of blue. This in breath of the blue of the air. The out-breath of the land just properly awesome: rolling and rising and opening in lochs and forests and volcanic boulder rock and mossy grass and twisted petrified sculptures of woodland. A hundred thousand sylvan creatures raising back their arms and frozen from the Atlantic blast.

The internet connection here is very patchy, so I will just try and smuggle out this wee snippet of our time. We are fine. Happy fine, weather weary fine. Just at our joy in the deep resonating rumbling glory of the Western Isles. The tombs of kings and the caves of giants. Oh so fine. Quick: pass it on x
