Blossom and butterflies

Lovely morning for a cycle into work. The sun was out and there was no traffic because it is the school holidays. 

Enjoyed a full 40 minutes or so in the sun at lunchtime walking round the lake. There were so many butterflies and insects around that I could easily have been out there for hours trying to get the best blip. There were some cooperative bee flies around but I liked this long zoom shot of a tortoiseshell butterfly high up in the blossom best.

It was hard to return to my windowless office.
