Tottenham Court Road Escalators

More stark in large.

I went into town today, and found that Tottenham Court Road is metamorphosing. The Central Line isn't stopping there at the moment while they refurbish it, but they've opened up the new Northern Line station. The adverts haven't been put up on the escalators yet, which left huge expanses of bare stainless steel which felt rather dramatic.
