Just my cup of tea

I bought this sweet bird feeder at the local flower shop and it didn't take long for Mr Squirrel to find it. A robin discovered it first, but it couldn't compete with this acrobat. The distance from the bottom of the cup to the branch holding the feeder is exactly one squirrel from foot to nose. I know this because when I first saw him, his head was fully in the cup. It was like the cup had sprouted a squirrel's body.

It was a beautifully sunny day. I introduced a friend to Middle Temple Gardens at lunchtime. We sat on the grass and watched the gardeners' cocker spaniel blatantly ignore all its lunching fans.

I met some Feasties for drinks in the evening, sitting outside The Railway in Tulse Hill.
