Hurry up Mum!

This is one of the coot chicks on the castle moat waiting for it's parent to bring food. There are four chicks that are about two weeks old. There's another on a nest so there'll be another family soon.

I can tell that it's school holidays as there have been a lot of visitors to the castle and there is litter scattered everywhere. I hate litter, it's such a shame to spoil a beautiful place when there are plenty of bins around.
