Shades of Green

Today, with no builders here, we were free to do whatever we liked, so we went into Bishop’s Stortford, for a late breakfast and to do some shopping.  Amazingly, for a change, we got everything we went in for, which pleased us greatly.  Having put these items safely in the car, we went for a walk along the banks of the River Stort, taking pictures and returning via the Castle Gardens to the car.  I took quite a lot of pictures, but despite having a reasonable number of good subjects, decided that this picture with all the various shades of green was my favourite.
