From small beginnings

Very exciting! My hollyhock seeds have germinated (some of them) !!
So small, but let's hope they will grow into big, beautiful hollyhocks!!
Spent the morning cooking and preparing for this weekend's guests before they arrived mid afternoon. It was just warm enough to have tea and cake outside, and it is good to see them. Much chatting and catching up over dinner - and late to bed! It's almost Saturday now!
