Dazzled!

This is the sight that greets me in the morning as I peer out of the bathroom window! Every day the colour of the crop has become more and more intense.

Some people dislike it, but the sheer brilliance of the whole field (this shows just a part of it) is just amazing, and especially cheerful in the sunlight.
This is the first year that the field has grown this crop; there are quite a few nearby too.

Walking the dog in the sunshine, gardening, tidying, baking a pizza, making a cake - and filing the heap of papers in my study - almost ready for our weekend visitors!
