Indie

Today we collected our little Airedale puppy. Its been nearly 6 months since Tallulah died and I am happy we had this time to grieve for her. This little chap was born around the same time as Tallulah was, so it feels like it is meant to be.

L came with us as I think he has been as excited as we are. Once at the breeders there was two puppies out on the lawn and we played with these whilst we waited for Mary the breeder to finish with another couple collecting their pup.  We were then presented with our little boy. We have called him Indie because of his kennel name and as you know we were struggling to decide on a name.  I felt quite emotional when we left to bring him home,  thinking about Tallulah and the years of joy and companionship this little chap will bring us.

We have been told that the litter is very placid - well compared to the last litter and he does seem quite content. He is enjoying settling in and runs around like a mad thing then sleeps happily in his crate for an hour.  As I am back blipping I can tell you that he slept from 12 till 6 without a peep. He really is quite adorable.

We left him in the hands of L and F when Mr PB and  I went to Cambridge to see Wolf Alice  wow what a gig! The crowds were so supportive and appreciative . I got down the front in the mosh pit - oh it was loud and frantic but great fun.
