Incipient Tadpoles

You can see them developing in the frogspawn on the top of the pond. One or two have emerged already.

Lovely day. No pressing work although a TMA looms. Basil and I walked down Coach Road in Shepshed and found some violets. Then we drove to the Aquatic and Garden Centre in Swadlincote to pick up some dog food and a sack of clumping cat litter for George and Kat.

We did the round of the furries in the pet section but Basil was more interested in the birds. On the way home, I took a different road that directed us to Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold as I rather fancied sitting outside with a pot of tea.

We ended up at the Ferrers Centre, Staunton Harold, where the cafe had just closed for the day. Oh well.
