Attack of the Clockwork Driods

It's the weekend of Edinburgh's Comic Con and here I am being attacked by one of Dr Who's Clockwork Droids.

The Clockwork Repair Droids were androids that served on the SS Madame de Pompadour and its sister ship, the SS Marie Antoinette. The former stalked Madame de Pompadour in 18th century France, believing that they could repair their ship by taking her brain. The former wore 18th century French clothing to blend in with the people of the era and were clockwork instead of electric so they could function if their ship's power was depleted. The latter crashed in Earth's distant past and remained hidden until the Victorian era when their control node tried to repair the ship with both organic and mechanic material from Victorian London to take them to the "promised land". They disguised themselves using human skin taken from their deceased victims. Some of the Clockwork Robots went to Sherwood in search of gold to repair a spaceship, making a robot Robin Hood and his Merrymen and the Droids were leaving killing everyone but the Twelfth Doctor let them go away from Earth by shooting them Robin's golden arrow.
