Burial Extreme

OK, so, fine, burying building rubble in the garden is not exactly Best Practice but not exactly uncommon either.

Burying a lawn rake is, one has to admit, different.

Warm sunny weather today and we were both out in the garden.  The challenge I'd set myself is to try and recover the yews by the front door. 

The hollies that someone planted alongside them have rather swamped the yews and they insist on spiking guests so they got a severe thinning.  In doing so I found a number of things including said buried lawn rake, half a dozen buried plastic sacks (meanwhile E was unearthing more bricks elsewhere in the garden) and indeed two more yews so swamped that I'd not spotted them before.

The bonfire heap grows ever larger.
