Eve in the Kibble Palace

Eve by Scipione Tadolini ranks as one of his most celebrated works. It was conceived in the 1860s in the prime of his career, and features his characteristically softened, sensuous approach to the female form. The original full-size plaster model is in the Palazzo Braschi, Rome, but there are several full-size versions.

The Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens is probably one of Glasgow's best-loved buildings. The building is a Glasgow Landmark and one of the most prestigious iron and glass structures remaining from the Victorian era.
