All The Fun Of The Fayre

Ahhh .. Saint Fagan's Museum Of Welsh Life how I love you as our go to place when we have visitors!

We went for a walk in the glorious early spring sunshine this afternoon with Julie. It was packed.

There is also a lot of work going on there, which we knew about when we visited there last time with Kate and Gavin back last summer. The visitor centre has all but been demolished, and the shop is now in the building that was previously the "house for the future" (the irony that when it was opened it was an example of how buildings were expected to be like by now, yet only survived 20 years isn't lost on me...)

There is a new coffee shop by the tannery and a whole new visitor experience centre is well into its construction.

It's a wonderful, ever evolving museum, and we are quite lucky to have it on our doorstep.

We met up with mum and dad in the Dyn tonight for a meal to finish the day off.

Julies last day here with us tomorrow ...
