Windmill above St Chinian

Sunday 12th April 2015

A more relaxed day today. We all went to the market in St Chinian. On the way back we stopped to investigate this windmill. There was a lovely view across the valley. After lunch my sister took me to the "church in the hole" or Saint Jean de Dieuvaille, built down in a gorge. A lovely walk. We spotted a sign on the roadside on the way home for another chapel ruin, the chapel of Saint Martin. We decided to go and investigate so had another interesting walk. Once there we realised we were close to a geocache so went in search and found it against the well.

Back in the village we went to find the geocache near the church, where I released my trackable "homing butterfly". It will be interesting to see where it gets to. If you're interested you can follow it, its reference is TB6R5CB.
