Glancing dancing see the water

Through the 'forest' to pick wild garlic. As you can probably tell the 'forest' is more of a spinney that runs between the canal and a lane that leads over the bridge to the golf course. It's amazing where you can find an adventure when you're five.

I remember thinking there was something magical about it when I was young too. I had no idea what the garlic was I just thought it smelled nice. Of course it wasn't trendy then. Mind you garlic was one of Dads pet hates so it wouldn't have been allowed in anyway.

Can recommend it chopped and sprinkled over roast potatoes if you have any near you.
