An Hour's Worth of Work

Finding sea-glass just got a whole lot easier. As I mentioned in yesterday's post, Playa La Ropa has changed from all sand to a combination of mostly sand interspaced with jetsam collections washed up by some large swells. These deposits of rock, shell, and other items have made it much, much easier to collect what was once elusive sea-glass. Shown here is what we were able to collect after an hour on the beach this morning. We could have brought more, but the bag we were using was in danger of rupturing from all we found. Regardless, one hour's work to effectively double my wife's entire collection and get a bunch of cool shells.
