Not a Lady

Taking a hire-car for a wee jaunt round Perthshire, today. M had booked a few days random leave.
It probably seems strange to our US blipping friends that we are so excited by ospreys; Florida and the PNW seem to have them nesting on every telegraph pole, but we lost ours and they're only just returning and massively protected.
This is the new pair who have moved into the nest at Loch of the Lowes, much drama and excitement!
The old female, known as Lady, has not returned this year. Well, she put in a good shift, and fledged a remarkable 50 chicks over the years...
