Then & Now

I found this little t-shirt today with my son's hand print on it. He was 3 years then. I asked him to put his other hand on the other side for the hand print.

It's very appropriate picture for today. I could not be more proud of him as his English finals left to the board that gives out the final grades as the best score of his school. Two others had the same score on the written test 90/99, he also had 100% correct on the listening comprehension test. He did not check if the others two had 100% on that too. He might be getting the best possible grade on English <3

He's had his share of challenges when it comes to school work, so this is beyond what we expected even when we know he's very good in English. It's just that the tests are not just about what you understand, about grammar, how you write, they also might have few possible correct answers and you have to know the more correct one, and that's not my son's strength.

His history score apparently was ok too. They only saw what they received from each question and not the whole score. So he's not sure how many points he missed. Well, we get the final scores at the end of May from the board. Next year it's Finnish and Swedish finals, which are so much harder for him. I hope this gives him confidence for the rest of the school work.
