The only bright spot in the day

Today we were sprint orienteering at Lancaster University,. The forecast suggested early dampness then clearing by midday. However, it was dull and drizzled most of the time the competition was on, and was cool. The courses were challenging and really made good use of the area. I was pleased with my run, but amazed that the winners (a tie) were more than 3 minutes quicker. The Men's Elite was also a tie between Scotland's Scott Fraser and the Swiss Matthias Kyburtz. It bodes well for the world orienteering championships in Scotland this August. As we drove back the sky started to clear and this was the spectacular sunset at the campsite.
