Beach Patterns, Sandaig

The weekend was our mountaineering club's annual dinner; this year held in Kintail. We traveled up on Thursday morning and camped at Sheil Bridge. As we had plenty of daylight, we drove over Mam Ratagan and then walked down to Sandaig, where Gavin Maxwell lived for a time. The tide was out, so we went to the nearby island, where this blip was taken. The beach was lovely, and we spent too long on the island so that the tide had turned and we had our first paddle of 2014. Being the west coast the water was a reasonable temperature, and it was rather nice. We sadly had brought the dull weather from home though.

Yesterday's blip Bend ze knees.
