Pastels at High tide

I meant to go to Merewether baths this morning as there was a high tide around sunrise but need to stay in bed was too strong so I high tailed it out from work early to catch the sunset.  How quickly our day lengths are dwindling.  Sunset now at 5.30 pm.  There were a lot of people out exercising and swimming and some surfers catching the big waves that are still rolling in.  I read in the paper that a couple of surfers boards were broken yesterday in those high seas.  Now that doesn't surprise me at all.
