Almost there

A 6 am start meant that we should have had plenty of time to get to the ferry form Skye and so it transpired.
Enough even for a short detour to Plockton, a really pretty village on the coast. For those aficionados of 80's television, it was the village in which they filmed Hamish Macbeth, a pretty weedy and gentle detective programme featuring Robert Carlyle.
The boat left pretty much when they said it would and we were back home before 9 pm with enough light to see that some things were still alive in the garden.
