It is out!
Always results in a foraging frenzy here, as the young leaves are best for pesto, picked before it starts flowering.
I am at the bottom of the last pot of last year's wild garlic and walnut pesto, so the timing is perfect :)
On the menu tonight:
Stir fry of marinated dandelion root, young plantain leaves, nettle tops, ground elder and wild garlic.
There, that is the weeding and feeding done for today!
I am also picking up my chickens tonight, so it is all excitement here today.
