The First Egg!

This week I have been too busy to Blip/take proper photo's!

Monday was spent coating the flatpack henhouse that arrived.
Tuesday was spent working and putting it together.
Wednesday was spent out at appointments and in the shops to buy chicken related items like feed, a galvanised bin to store the feed in, hay, feeder/drinker etc. and...
In the early evening the chickens were collected!

They are gorgeous!
A light Sussex called Bianca,
a Longtown Brown called Nera
and a Chalkhill Blue called Bruna.

Today I had the first egg already, from Bruna, the little superstar!

I ate it with the first asparagus tonight, it was delicious!

P.S. another copout emergency Blip, where would I be without the animals ;)
